Well this is one way to make sure she won’t go anywhere while you’re trying to focus on TV bingo and cigarettes.

The parents must think that trapping this baby between doors is funny or they wouldn’t have taken this photo.
I’m sorry…I don’t see the humor. I keep thinking what this tyke is thinking seeing mom and dad on the other side…holding the door shut (see left edge of door for a ?hand?).
If she suddenly becomes claustrophobic, bet the parents won’t be able to offer a guess as to why,
Parents are to protect…not to trap. Kids do enough on their own that’s funny…Why do this?
Tazmom, you lack a sense of humor!
mothers, i swear. The hand is not touching the door. If the kid gets claustrophobic because of this, she’s got bigger problems on the way.
i remember as a kid doing this. i always thought it was so funny to be in between the two doors…..
Tazmom get your panties out of a bunch.
Thanks all for having a sense of humor. She used to think she was funny closing herself in. If you can’t find the humor in this website then you need to find yourself a different one.

To this day I have a big case of claustrophobia due to someone thinking they were being funny by wrapping me in a blanket and not letting me up. While they laughed I suffered.
Claustrophobia is a horrible feeling. If you don’t have it you can’t know how debilitating it is.
I have a very good sense of humor, thank you very much…I love to laugh…but not at a child’s expense if it can lead to a problem for the child.
As I said, kids do plenty of things that we can laugh at but if it can hurt them in some way….that says plenty about the people who find humor in their fear. I guess you think its just fine to tickle a child until they cry too? That used to be accepted too. Now its not…its called abuse.
These are unthinking parents.
I’m not going to get into a flame throwing match here. I expressed my comment…you commented on that…I explained my reasoning. We don’t agree…so I’m done. I’ve said my piece and you said yours.
Tom…It sounds as if this child is yours. You said she closed herself in. So long as she has control…its fine. Its her doing it. It just looks to me that someone was keeping the door shut while the photo was being taken.
So to you…If she was in control…fine…my apologies to you.
My son used to do the same thing. Pull the door shut on himself, then holler to be let out.
When my older sister used to look after me when I was little she used to lock me in the wardrobe/closet/Laundry Chute. I would scream and cry for about five minutes and then go silent.
She would panic thinking I had died and as soon as she opened the door I would zoom out and hide.
We used to fold my little brother up in the hide-a-bed… he would scream bloody murder because he was claustrophobic…. now for some reason he’s not…
I loved getting myself squashed in weird places when I was a kid. The look on her face doesn’t say “I’m scared, let me out immediately” to me. Consider the fact her butt is further away from the door than her face is. That’s just the kind of random stuff that usually give lil chilluns the giggles. She’s probably saying “Look mommy! I’m a bug on a windshield!”
@tazmom really its abuse to tickle your child till they cried i highly doubt that, that’s basically saying its bad for them to laugh, have you never laughed until you’ve cried, its not necessarily a bad thing
