If you thought 3 on the bike was bad, check out this Proud Family that crammed 5 on to one. What really gets me is the fact that both of the parents are wearing helmets, but none of the children are.. Priorities? The only safety precaution we actually see here for the kids is that little tether attached to the hip of the child on the back, which really just insures that if he falls he’ll either be dragged behind the bike, take his mother down with him, or take the whole crew down.

Does the Chinese writing in the lower left corner say WTF?
Why is it that the parents are always wearing helmets and the kids are not?? I guess children can’t get hurt on a motorcycle !!!

having lived in vietnam for many years this is pretty common… perfectly acceptable in their culture.
That is so commonplace in Vietnam and Cambodia. They think nothing of it
