Seriously though, Jessica, good luck convincing that kid he’s not Superman.

I read this on Yahoo! news, and the woman needs a slap. She was spring cleaning her apartment, with her mother, and pushed the sofa to be under the window. No one was watching the child. The child climbed on the sofa and was talking to a downstairs neighbor when he leaned against the screen and fell out. The mother was quoted as saying that’s starting to get easier believing that it wasn’t her fault.
Yeah, mom. You’re innocent. NOT. <> She needs to be a little bit more responsible and take account for her mistake.
Kids shouldn’t be shouting out of windows at people outside, screen or no screen. Besides, why wasn’t mom around watching her four year old? Kids of any age need to be watched lest they do something that endangers them, like say, leaning against a screen.
I dunno; as a parent, this really could happen to anyone. You can’t watch your kids 100% of the time, and especially for young parents, you don’t know all the ways your kid can possibly get into trouble. When I was in college, my oldest son – at the time, around 1 1/2 years old – would climb onto the back of the couch to unlock the chain from the door, which was 6 feet off the ground. After the first time or two of escaping, we made some changes to the furniture layout. No, this is more an issue with the landlord; why do we have plain screens on 3rd story windows??
Yeah, yeah…point the finger at the bad parent. Then when something stupid or dangerous happens to YOUR kid, you can be just as oblivious to the fact that you’re an idiot too.
This mother and son look like Jennelle and Jace from TeenMom. And she is even a shitty parent too! I have a 3 year old that is a daredevil, and he can’t be left alone for a minute. That means not cleaning sometimes. Some people are more concerned with a clean house, friends, work, etc than their kids.
