  1. I don’t see anything wrong with this….

  3. What part of “never ever prop a baby’s bottle” do people not understand?

  4. ash on January 21st, 2013
  5. and people wonder why society gets dumber by second?

  9. don’t prop a bottle up and leave them alone…nothing to see here

  10. Pearl on January 21st, 2013
  11. Jesus Christ he is sitting right there – so what!

  12. Bob on January 21st, 2013
  13. Nothing wrong here. He’s right there with the baby. He can tell if s/he is in trouble. He’s watching his own kid (one assumes). So, he’s not allowed to do anything else meanwhile? What if a woman reads a book while she is breastfeeding? Is that wrong, too?

  14. Po on January 21st, 2013
  15. The point is that you do not choose to play a video game over bonding with your infant and propping bottles is not a great choice

  16. rebecca on January 21st, 2013
  17. I do not see a single thing wrong with this picture. I used to prop my daughters bottle up all the time. It’s not like the baby is alone in a crib with the bottle attached to a gag strap. The dad is right there…

    Lets move on.

  18. Meghan on January 21st, 2013
  19. Exactly how is this wrong? he is right there. No need to have your hand on the bottle. Be happy that Dad is sitting right there.

  20. Emilee on January 21st, 2013
  21. For those of you IDIOTS that don’t get why proping a bottle is bad……… well I already said it .. you’re an idiot. Google for shits sake. GOOGLE! I don’t understand why people just don’t Google?? lol

  22. scsellers on January 22nd, 2013
  23. Only thing wrong is he is wearing a speedo.

  24. bubba on January 22nd, 2013
  25. @rebecca – Hey asshole, I don’t know what fantasy land you come from where a parents stares lovingly at their child EVERY feeding, but in the real world it doesn’t happen every feeding. He is right there, he is right there, he is right there.

  26. Bob on January 22nd, 2013
  27. Propping a bottle is lazy that is why it is wrong. A baby needs to be held while being fed it helps with the bond. He might be right there but his attention isn’t.

  28. LaDonna on January 22nd, 2013
  29. LaDonna and Rebecca are obviously not parents. Wow get real. Parents sometimes have to get things done and are unable to hold a baby 24/7. It is totally ok to do this and WILL NOT harm the child. “Google” all you damn want, welcome to the real world.

  30. Emilee on January 22nd, 2013
  31. I’m sorry, that was for “scsellers”

  32. Emilee on January 22nd, 2013
  33. It’s not just a bonding thing! If the baby isn’t able to take a breath during a feeding they can easily choke or aspirate milk, and by the time the milk is in the lungs the dad may not even notice because he’s into his game. Propping a bottle is dangerous. Not to mention how into the game men can get. My husband didn’t notice my daughter climbing the bookshelf right next to the tv until she fell off once because he was gaming.

  35. I am a parent, I am able to get things done AND feed the baby attentively, its called putting her in the baby sling and feeding her while working. This guy is getting nothing done, he’s sitting on his ass reliving or staying in his teenager days when he has more important responsibilities sitting in front of him.

  36. ash on January 22nd, 2013
  37. By the way, either that kid is wearing a thick cloth diaper with cover or he is soaked and needs to be changed asap.

  38. ash on January 22nd, 2013
  39. It’s amusing to watch all the holier than thou, high and mighty super parents get all butthurt about this. Wow, I can guarantee that you’re going to be those helicopter parents that everyone, especially your own children, are going to hate, well into middle age. … and no, it will not create a better child, but likely one with many more issues.

of course, somehow you managed to abandon your kid long enough to comment on a photo on the internet.

  40. R on January 23rd, 2013
  41. R, have you ever met an attachment parent or seem a grown up AP kid? No? Then you have no basis for your argument that it causes more issues when we can all agree that the kid eating a tampon is just trying to seek attention and everyone asks where the hell are her parents. It’s not about being a helicopter, it’s letting your kid discover independence on their own time rather than forcing it on them when they’re too young to physically be able to handle it. That’s what causes boys to start being troublemakers and bullies to get attention and girls to be attention seeking drama queen whores. If that kid starts choking there’s nothing he can do about it and the dad may not even notice. I know many gamers who wouldn’t. And I haven’t abandoned my kids to be able to post on the Internet. they are all old enough to have discovered their own independence and they are happily playing in their rooms with me only going in about once an hour to referee. not once in all of the 13 years I have been working with children and raising my own have I ever propped a baby’s bottle or abandoned them to cry it out alone.

  42. ash on January 24th, 2013
  43. There’s nothing wrong with this and you’re all idiots.
Just cuz he is playing a video game while his child is in front of him does not mean the child is being neglected.
And ash, that’s not a fucking cloth diaper, it’s a diaper with a fucking onsie over top.
    Calm your shit.

  44. GlitchBomb on January 24th, 2013
  45. I know that guy, he was in my husbands squadron. He’s a dumbass and a douche but he’d never let his baby come to harm.

  46. wtf on January 25th, 2013
  47. Well, first off my wife was right there as she was taking the picture. Secondly, I am not in the air wing nor I have never been in a squadron so I do not believe ‘wtf’ knows me. I do find it humorous someone posted this pic, thats what I get for sharing on Facebook.

  48. The Guy on February 23rd, 2013
  49. NEVER PROP A BOTTLE. Your infant’s emotional development depends on being held in human arms and having human eyes to look into when he/she is feeding.

  50. somechick on February 27th, 2013
  51. i dont see anything wrong with this he is right there, his booty shorts are a bit much though

  52. remmi509 on March 4th, 2013
  53. and clearly who ever taking the pic is there which im assuming is the mother who clearly isnt doing anything so its not like the baby is not being watched after either
