   Who includes boy/girlfriends in a family Christmas card photo anyway? This is exactly why most people don’t.

   I think this was a rather passive-aggressive act by the parents, which suggests they were a tad over-involved personally on the issue; but I guess I can understand that. Since it is so uber-easy to have holiday cards made up anymore, I think this was a little tasteless. But at the worst, I think just covering up the girl entirely with a Christmas tree or something similar would have been better. I can’t help wondering if one of the reasons the young couple broke up was because of the parents.
