VINTAGE BAD BABYSITTING

If between the doors seems like a cruel place to stuff your child when the babysitter cancels, try hanging them on the clothes line.. this woman did and now she has more free time then chores.

   A bit staged. Mom didn’t just decide to hang junior on the line as she was putting out the wash. The rope obviously runs inside the kid’s cloths. The Cloths pins are just for show.

   I believe this photo was from a wonderful photo book called The Family of Children….a followup to an even better book called The Family of Man. They were all compilations of black and white photos and truly wonderful images. The books were compiled by Jerry Mason. The Family of Children was copyrighted in 1977. Check it out!
