So, this dad waited with his son for the bus the day he started his sophmore year, and when he waved at him, it of course embarrassed the kid. So, that night, the kid complained to his mom “Don’t let him go out there anymore.”
So, now, the dad has been dressing up in a different costume for 3 years to wave at his son as he gets on the bus. He never wears the same costume twice.
Here is a video clip down of the first year in costumes. Enjoy.

Awesome Dad!
Wow, Dad seems to have a lot of time on his hands, between the planning, shopping, and putting on of all of those outfits. Do you think him and Mom are enjoying the costumes after the bus leaves or something?
Either Dad has no life or he was deeply offended beyond all reason. Kids of course really should stop worrying about it and appreciate their family’s more.
I’m sure by now this kid is numb to embarrassment. Which I imagine is an asset. Most kids are so paranoid about what other kids think of them its practically a disability.
I would love to have a dad to do this. Awesome!
Personally, I think he’s great, though I secretly wonder if he owns a costume store. I mean, that’s gotta be super expensive.
Love it! will be adding to my arsenal of embarassing things to do to my children
I blinked. Must start over.
This was too funny. I actually visited his blog.
I have a feeling my own dad would do this if he could.
great!
His website says he’s spent less than $50 on costumes — most are borrowed from neighbors or remnants of Halloweens past.
