Family Phone Bill

She’s lucky it doesn’t have sub-sections for “sexts” and “dirty pictures”, otherwise her parents might actually know what’s going on.

  1. Actually this isn’t a lot, especially for a teenager. Over a month this would be only 4 text an hour, assuming 8 hours a day of sleep and 30 day in a month.

  3. That’s nothing compared to my daughters texts. She in one month had 22,000 on an out an she is 13. Thank God unlimited texts. But she don’t do that no more.

  5. This is when you get a TracPhone from Walmart and tell the kids when the minutes on the phone are used up, they’ll have to buy some more with their own money, until you refill it at the end of the month.

  7. If you are not on an unlimited family plan I’d go buy her a cheap prepaid phone say she gets $25 a month added to it, everything she uses after that she has to pay for.

  11. It’s pretty shitty that all the comments aren’t touching on the fact that your kids are up to no good if they are spending that much time texting. Are you stupid? Or just out of touch with what teenagers really do? At least some of those texts are dirty, some are about alcohol and drugs, and some are just mean.

  13. Actually Ariel, that’s about what my bill looks like..only it’s me the parent that has 5000+ text a month, not my teen, a lot of texting doesn’t mean the kid is up to no good, it just means that she’s spending a lot of time talking to her friends. Which we used to spend hours on the phone instead, not really a big difference.
