The pic looks old so I hope the child grew up. Who would stand there and watch that let alone take a fucking picture! AND… then post it on this site that I for one will not visit agin.
It could be a toy, toy guns were more realistic in the 70′s.

This to me looks like it could be a toy gun. It probly belongs to the other kid in the picture. It looks like a pic from the 70′s. As Tom said they made them more realistic back then.

Toy gun or not. This is just wrong. What happens when the kid is a little older/more mobile and finds a real gun?
Like someone said, Doc, this was obviously taken in the ’70s, maybe the ’60s. Those kids are already grown up. Maybe. They could be dead of a drug overdose or something by now.

Stop yer whinin’ – it’s undoubtedly a toy. I had a “realistic” toy pistol when I was five or six (about when this pic was taken, by the looks of it), and I’m strictly anti-gun, so it proves nothing (except maybe that there are people who will leap to any conclusion they can, as long as it leads to personal outrage).
the government should determine whether people are allowed to breed by checking their iq’s. this is why stupid people shoud’t be allowed to have kids!!!

Though seriously, I don’t see why people are all up in arms over this.
A: The photo is OBVIOUSLY from a time (like the sixties to eighties) when toy guns were WAY more realistic (hell I had a toy Uzi when I was a boy that would get a fellow shot these days).
And most importantly:
B: Children put things in their mouths. Especially when they’re still in diapers. Not to be a dickhead here or anything, just hey. Out of context this could look bad but you have to consider a lot of things, such as cultural norms for the era and part of the world/country that the photo takes place in.
