LOL! I’m in full support of punishments like this.
Amusing, but not a punishment. She’s taped to 2 windows, and who has 2 interior windows in their home? Any child who’s cooperative enough to be taped to the wall isn’t likely to be so disobedient as to need it as a punishment.
Oh gawd, Jessica! He was just playing with her! I have two kids, do you have any idea how many times I’ve jokingly told them I was going to duct tape them to the wall, only for them to beg me to do so? I’ve never done it as it seems like a perfect waste of duct tape and I use my duct tape mostly for arts and crafts. But I don’t see this child crying. Having kids, I know first hand that when they’re being punished, they cry! There are no tears coming from that child’s eyes. You’re probably one of those people that go around calling CPS on a parent for spanking their child. Go take care of yours and stop worrying about everyone else’s. And if you don’t have any.. please keep it that way!
it appears to be a dance studio. what is sick about this though is that the child has duct tape covering their mouth. if the child started to cry and her nose became plugged up she could suffocate !
Funny, but didn’t a guy get arrested for taking a picture of the same thing? He taped his daughter to the wall the same way, where is Child Services for this one?

Man, if parents got pissed at him for the shot of his kid without a helmet on, then they are going to crucify him for this one! I personally think it is HILARIOUS.
It would be funny, if not for the duct tape on the mouth. I hope that’s not duct tape, but electrical tape or something that’s not so sticky. That’s going to hurt like a son of a b when it gets ripped of the skin, if the child doesn’t end up with bloody lips, it will be a miracle. *wince*

Two totally different scenarios, that other picture the kid was much younger, obviously in distress, and small enough that it could have been done forcibly.
This kid is older, doesn’t appear in real distress and big enough that she would have had to cooperate willingly
Amen to the mother of two’s comment. Even if it was done as a joke it’s still wrong. A picture was recently posted on here with her father doing a skateboard stunt right next to her. His choices are ridiculous. If a parent is going to act irresponsible and do stupid things regardless if his daughter was a willing participant,should not be able to have kids. Its a shame that just about anyone can can be a parent…it takes a responsible one to earn the title of mother and father.

whatever you are making with duct tape is definitely not “art” or “crafts”. all your doing is duct taping two pieces of garbage together…although now that i say it out loud, it would be a lot easier for the garbage man to haul away all of your “crafts” if they were conveniently duct taped together.

I would like to point out a few things that make me think that this was a joke set up pic for laughs. First of all, her hands are completely free. She does not look like she is in any distress. She looks bored, but not in any way hurt or scared. She is old enough that it would be difficult to do that without her cooperation and if it was done without it she would look alot more distressed. And, finally, Tony Hawk’s kid has likely been doing stunts and things since she was old enough to want to be “like daddy” on a skateboard. There is a difference between child abuse and playing around with your kids.
