While the soldiers are away at war, the occasionally get a weekend leave, maybe she got pregnant while her hubby was on leave!
Even though he is listed as serving in Iraq for 12 months, they usually get a 2 week leave where they come home and then get sent back out. I can only hope thats what happened here.
you guys do realize that they do get leave right? ugh….
The husbands do come home on leave so don’t be quick to judge

This is misleading because there are cases where soldiers have the opportunity to go home for a few days or meet their spouses at a halfway point to spend time together. That’s likely what happened in this case.

Seriously? She probably got pregnant during his R&R, which is an opportunity for service members to return home for 2 weeks in the middle[or after they've been there for 180 days i believe] of their deployment. so she could have easily gotten pregnant during that time. This is why everyone thinks ALL military wives are cheating hoes. it’s ridiculous. Stop assuming assholes.

Im an army wife & my husband got to come home 2 diff time during all of his deployments. If I was preg when my hubby came home, I wouldve done this. I think its cute!

She has already explained that her husband had come home on leave and she got prego then. DUUUHHHHH!
It’s called two weeks of mid-tour leave. I should know. That’s how I got my youngest daughter. So far as I know, mid-tour leave is pretty standard. I know everyone I knew during my tour got one.

My mom got pregnant with my sister while my dad was deployed in Viet Nam. During his leave, when she met him in Hawaii.

Maybe so but we’ve all heard the “I was lonely and vulnerable and his super-hot brother was around” line.
They come home for R&R sometime around half way. Don’t just assume the worst.

I am sure he was home on R&R and that is when she got pregnant. Most military members get leave in the middle of a year tour.

Obviously the site owner and most of the jerks who comment have no idea what R&R is. Soldiers are allowed a two week visit back home during their deployments. Thank you for assuming she is a whore.
All military get 2 weeks of paid leave during their 12 month tour. I’m a military wife. I should know.
R+R baby or not, pretty sure this still counts as a fail just from the overwhelming level of *tacky* involved. Cover your gut, woman. O_o

Like everybody saying it was probably an r&r baby. My husbands been on two deployments and they can come home between four months into the deployment up to seven. But I also know some wives who got pregnant by someone else during deployment.
She got pregnant when her husband came home on leave and the envelope she’s holding is the ultrasound pictures so they could find out the gender together. There is nothing fail about this. People need to fact check before circulating crap like this.

I can’t believe all these mean comments on here. Soldiers get two weeks of leave and that’s probably when she got pregnant. It’s hard enough to be a military wife and be separated from your husband and the father of your children for such a long time, but being disrespected and called out as a slut all over the internet with no prove whatsoever is beyond disrespectful to the sacrifices military wives and families have to make every single day during a deployment.
As active duty military we get 2 weeks of leave during our 12month deployments:)

It’s not disrespectful to any military wives nor families other than the one in the photo being disrespected.
The entire caption from the original source says the child was conceived 5-6 months earlier when the husband was on leave.
Once again people need to read the stories/arrivals before just saying stupid shit that makes them look dumb ass hell.
i still think it would have been much more tear jerking OR scary if he didn’t show she was pregnant, like a welcome home remember that R&R visit… ya
It’s called r&r, idiots. Military get two weeks off when they are deployed for a year. She doesn’t have any explaining to do.
