THE NAME GAME: MOXIE CRIMEFIGHTER

Upon his daughter’s birth in 2005, the co-star of Penn and Teller said, “We chose her middle name because when she’s pulled over for speeding she can say, `But officer, we’re on the same side, my middle name is CrimeFighter.” Thankfully she’s got her first name to help her pull that one off.

   I don’t know – Moxie’s a good name. I understand it’s the middle name that’s weird, but just remember – when she’s 18 – she can change it if she wants to.

   Penn Jilette is otherwise a fairly commonsense guy. Don’t know why he’d do something so blindingly stupid.
   But then again, I used to work with a guy who changed his own name to Doctor Christ Ecstasy.
