A parent of a Cub Scout has been arrested and charged with stealing money from the organization.
Hartwell, GA police arrested 32-year-old Rebecca Lynn Evans and charged her with three counts of first degree forgery.
Investigators say Evans admitted to taking $1,800. The money was supposed to go towards a popcorn-selling fundraiser for Cub Scout Pack 28 in Hart County, GA.

This story is pretty sad – A Tulsa mother shot her 12 year old daughter while she was asleep before turning the gun on herself. The house above belongs to Sgt Karen Moore – well at least it did, until her 15 year old daughter shot her in the back of the head. The two had been arguing about the girls boyfriend, who was two years older than her. After shooting her mother at approximately 9pm, she called her boyfriend and invited him over for sex upstairs.
